Thanksgiving sauce: balsamic vinaigrette with Dijon mustard

  • Pour into a deep bowl three tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, two of mild mustard, a pinch of salt, a good sprinkling of freshly grated black pepper and a spoonful of brown sugar.
  • Start mixing the ingredients with a whisk, then add slowly nine tablespoons of oil, whisking constantly until the dressing is creamy and well emulsified.
