Grilled Pears with Parmesan and Balsamic Vinegar
There is no better pairing than Parmigiano Reggiano and Balsamic Vinegar. And adding a third ingredient like pears to this combination, will make your plate original and successful. Actually cheese and pears recipes are a very popular all around the world.
Grilled pear with blue cheese are a classical pairing too, very appreciated by the lovers of cheese and fruit pairings. But have you ever tried grilled pears with Parmesan? Try them at your next summer barbecue and serve with a good Chardonnay.
A really finger licking meal!
- Peel the pears and cut them into 2 and then into slices, however leaving them attached at the top, to form a sort of fan.
- Cut flakes of Parmesan.
- Put the pears on a plank (soaked in water for at leasst one hour) and place the flakes of cheese between the slices.
- Grill for about 10 min until the cheese hase melted.
- Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP.
- Serve warm.
